I have large white spots on my toenails, especially on my big toes. The discoloration on the inside side of the big toes have a deeper discoloration. There is no discomfort associated with this, just look very ugly. Several other toes are the same way. What might this discoloration indicate? Thank you for your help!

White patches on the tonsils are usually caused by bacteria such as staphylococcus or streptococcus. But there are rare cases of malignancy. Although no symptoms are suggested to see a doctor for examination such as bacterial culture and tissue examination. If bacteria doctor will give antibiotics according to bacteria. The important thing is to maintain oral hygiene not to aggravate white patches, can be by using a mouthwash antiseptic.
